Finger Seal

The Finger Seal is the basic sacred seal for casting incantations. It needs just 4 Strength and 10 Faith and scales at C with Faith.

Its raw scaling is strong, particularly at low to mid Faith, so it stays relevant for longer than you might expect. Finger Maidens bestow these seals.

It is also starting equipment for the Confessor and Prophet origins.

Item description & lore

A sacred seal given by a Finger Maiden, used as a catalyst for incantations.

Notes & tips

  • It is among the strongest seals in raw scaling, especially between 10 and 26 Faith, but seals that boost specific incantations will beat it for those spells.
  • Incantation scaling is 126 at 10 Faith, 188 at 30, 254 at 50 and 329 at 80.
  • It stays only a few points behind the Godslayer’s Seal once you meet that seal’s requirements.
