A commemorative sword that splits its damage evenly between physical and holy. It needs 12 Strength, 10 Dexterity and 14 Faith, so it fits a Faith-leaning melee build.

Its unique skill, Last Rites, gives you and nearby allies the Sacred Order effect, which is especially strong against Those Who Live in Death.

Where to find it

At the entrance of Auriza Hero’s Grave. You need a Stonesword Key to get in, and a Basilisk guards it.

Item description & lore

Made to mark the death of Godwyn the Golden, the first demigod to die. It carries a young boy’s prayer that his brother might find a true death.

Notes & tips

  • Last Rites adds 25 holy damage and a small general damage boost (10%, 5% in PvP), plus double damage against Those Who Live in Death.
  • It does not need a sacred seal, which makes it quicker to use than similar incantation buffs.
  • The sword also has a built-in damage bonus against Those Who Live in Death.
