Godslayer’s Greatsword

Godslayer’s Greatsword is a colossal sword that deals physical and fire damage and scales with Strength, Dexterity and Faith. Its unique skill, The Queen’s Black Flame, sets the blade alight with black flame and sweeps it in front of you, with an optional follow-up. The black flame keeps eating away at the target’s health for a while afterwards.

It is surprisingly light for a colossal sword and has balanced requirements, so it fits Faith-leaning quality builds well. This is the source of the black flames used by the Godskin Apostles.

Where to find it

Found in a chest at the bottom of the Divine Tower of Caelid in Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow. The chest is guarded by a Godskin Apostle boss.

Item description & lore

This was the sacred sword of the Gloam-Eyed Queen, who led the Godskin Apostles until she was defeated by Maliketh. The apostles’ black flames are drawn from it.
