Haligtree Knight
Haligtree Knights are elite knights sworn to Miquella‘s Haligtree. Their armour still gleams after all this time, they wear helms crowned with unalloyed gold, and each carries a flower that stands for their faith in the Haligtree.
You face them in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. They come in a few versions: knights with a greatsword and a large crested shield, knights with a partisan, and archers with a greatbow.

How to beat it
These are some of the toughest regular foes in Elphael, so take them one at a time and do not let an archer pin you down while a melee knight closes in. Deal with the greatbow archers first when you can.
If you want the full set, note that the knights never drop the helm. You pick it up yourself after climbing a ladder near the Elphael Inner Wall site of grace.
Lore
The knights vowed to serve the Haligtree. Their greatshields show the tree in unalloyed gold, the crest on their breastplate marks their oath, and the flower they carry is said to have been loved by the young Empyrean Miquella.
