Depraved Perfumer

Depraved Perfumers are the darker cousins of the ordinary Perfumers. They leaned toward heresy and swallowed spices to change their bodies and minds. You can tell them apart by the twisting serpents embroidered on their aprons.

In the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes they hang around the bonfire and in the upper huts. More of them wait in The Shaded Castle, often together with Cleanrot Knights.

How to beat it

They fight with aromatics like acid and poison sprays and a blood-boiling aromatic, so do not let them spray you from a distance while other enemies keep you busy. Rush them down; they are fragile once you close in.

Lore

The art of perfuming was once a guarded secret of the Royal Capital, but it spread as the wars dragged on. The depraved ones practised forbidden arts and worked with the poachers who hunted Living Jars. A famous one, Carmaan, was said to be as strong as a hero and searched for a hidden physick that could bring back the dead. One depraved perfumer also took part in the massacre at the Village of the Albinaurics on behalf of Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing.
