Lamprey
Lampreys are eel-like humanoids with eight eyes, round sucker mouths and stubby little legs. They hunt with Glinting Nails and are the origin of the Finger Sorceries. They can slip into white wormholes to jump around the ruins they guard, and many lie coiled up asleep, blending into the rocks.
They live in the Finger Ruins of Dheo and the Finger Ruins of Rhia in the Realm of Shadow. White Lampreys appear only at Dheo.

How to beat it
Watch the ground carefully; sleeping lampreys are easy to miss. Their purple projectile can stun you and is often followed by the lamprey teleporting right next to you, so dodge it and be ready to fight up close. Now and then a small one teleports to you even when the projectile misses.
Lore
Pearlescent Scales grow deep inside a lamprey’s skin. They are the key ingredient of the Fingerprint Nostrum, the strange medicine taken by those who want to follow the path of the finger-weavers.
