Deathbed Dream

The Deathbed Dream is a strange space inside the body of Godwyn the Golden. It looks like a closed-off version of the Prince of Death’s Throne in the Deeproot Depths, and it exists only as the arena for Lichdragon Fortissax.

You can only enter once Fia, Deathbed Companion has received Ranni‘s Cursemark of Death. When the dragon falls, the dream closes for good, so there is nothing else to explore here.

How to get there

Progress Fia‘s story until she holds the Cursemark of Death. The dream is reached from the Prince of Death’s Throne in the Deeproot Depths.

Lore

After Godwyn died in spirit on the Night of Black Knives, his body lived on as the Prince of Death. His old companion, the ancient dragon Fortissax, went into the dream to fight the Death inside him. It never won, and the struggle left the dragon corrupted by Deathblight.
