Deeproot Depths

The Deeproot Depths are an enormous cavern far below the Altus Plateau, the source of both the Siofra and Ainsel Rivers and the deepest point the Erdtree’s roots reach. The ruins of a nameless Eternal City, destroyed long ago by Astel, lie scattered among the roots.

This is also where the body of Godwyn the Golden, the first demigod to die, was buried among the roots. Fia, Deathbed Companion’s questline leads here, and it ends with a fight against Lichdragon Fortissax inside Godwyn’s dream.
