Tarnished Saga (tarnishedsaga.com) is a free fan wiki about Elden Ring. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, why, and what choices you have. We keep it as plain as we can.
Who runs this site
Tarnished Saga is run by a private individual based in Sweden, which means the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. If you have questions about your data, use our contact page.
What we collect
- Technical data: like any website, our server records your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and running.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser, used for advertising, measuring traffic and remembering your settings (see below).
- Things you send us: if you leave a comment or contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to share.
- Tool progress: our interactive tools (such as the Boss Checklist and the Region Map) save your progress in your own browser’s local storage. That data never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
Advertising
The site is kept free by advertising served through Ezoic and its partners, which may include Google. These companies may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests. How long we keep data
Comments stay on the site until they are removed. Messages sent through the contact page are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis. Cookie lifetimes set by advertising partners are listed in their disclosures above.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
