Elden Stars

Elden Stars sends out a golden orb that drifts after its target, scattering small shooting stars as it goes, then bursts in a wide holy explosion when it touches something.

It has one of the highest Faith requirements around, so it is very much an endgame spell for pure Faith casters.

Where to find it

Looted from a body at the end of a giant-ant cave in the Deeproot Depths, just west of the Great Waterfall Crest grace. You reach it by climbing up one of the large roots.

Item description & lore

This is the oldest of the incantations drawn from the Erdtree. Legend says the Greater Will once sent a golden star carrying a beast into the Lands Between, and that beast became the Elden Ring.

Notes & tips

  • The small shooting stars deal very little damage; the explosion is the real hit.
  • The trickle of small hits can still be useful for pressuring other players.
