Knight Bernahl
Knight Bernahl lives in the Warmaster’s Shack in Stormhill, and for most of the early game he is simply the friendly man who sells you Ashes of War. He is a former Tarnished champion who once had a real chance at lordship.
Later you find him at the Volcano Manor, where he turns out to be a Recusant who has given up on the Erdtree. His story ends far from Stormhill, in Crumbling Farum Azula.
