Volcano Manor
The Volcano Manor is a grand, gloomy house on the slopes of Mt. Gelmir, and it is one of the most interesting legacy dungeons in the game, because it starts as a place that welcomes you. Lady Tanith, the lady of the manor, invites you to join the Recusants, warriors who hunt other Tarnished and stand against the Golden Order.
Accept, and you get a series of requests: letters with targets to hunt down by invading their worlds. Behind the friendly halls lies a prison town full of fire and serpents, a Godskin Noble in the Temple of Eiglay, and at the very bottom Praetor Rykard, now the Lord of Blasphemy, merged with a giant serpent.

How to get there
Climb Mt. Gelmir from the Altus Plateau, or let an Abductor Virgin in the Academy of Raya Lucaria grab you. They carry their victims straight here. Use the Serpent-Hunter against Rykard; it was made for that fight.
Lore
Rykard was once a praetor and a demigod. In the end he let a great serpent swallow him so that he could keep devouring and never die, and the Recusants who served him left. Tanith stayed with him, and her loyalty is one of the darker love stories in the game.
