Yuri

Yuri was the beloved son of the sorcerer Count Ymir. He died young and was buried in the quiet graveyard next to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in the Realm of Shadow. You never meet him, but his grave is there to find.

The graveyard is reached through the cathedral entrance near Jolán, Swordhand of Night.

Ymir never let go of his son. He kept talking about Yuri as if the boy were still running around the church, and believed a rotten, tangled horror troubled Yuri’s dreams, so he often visited the grave to calm the nightmares.

His grief drove him to seek Yuri’s rebirth by trying to recreate the power of Metyr, Mother of Fingers.
