Carian Sorcery Sword

A Thrusting Sword from Shadow of the Erdtree that splits its damage between physical and magic and scales with Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. It uses Impaling Thrust.

Its big trick: strong attacks cast glintstone sorceries, so it doubles as a catalyst. That makes it a natural pick for Dex/Int spellblades.

In a chest in Castle Ensis, after dropping down from Scadu Altus, in the Realm of Shadow.

Item description & lore

A small, slender glintstone sword of the Carian royal family. Carian knights used it long ago, before their sword-and-sorcery fighting style was fully refined, and it can channel glintstone sorcery through its strong attacks.

Notes & tips

  • In the right hand, heavy attacks cast sorceries. In the left hand, the skill button casts instead, and this replaces the right-hand weapon’s skill.
  • Guard counters become thrusting counterattacks.
