Dancer’s Castanets

A small memento you can offer to Tanith. It changes nothing in her quest or its outcome, but her reaction quietly reveals that she has left her old life as a dancer behind.

Where to find it

After defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, talk to Patches at the Volcano Manor. He moves to the Shaded Castle on the Altus Plateau and waits in the hallway before the Castellan’s Hall Site of Grace, closest to the Shaded Castle Inner Wall grace. Speak to him there to get the castanets.

Item description & lore

The castanets point to Tanith’s past as a Dancer of Ranah, a life she has chosen to leave behind.

Notes & tips

  • Tanith only takes it while she is devouring Rykard’s body, and she turns it down.
  • Afterwards Patches heads back to Murkwater Cave in Limgrave.
