Serosh

Serosh is a huge lion with a dark grey coat and a silvery-white mane that was golden when he was young. His face is covered in scars, and his eyes stay shut because he is blind. The worst wound is the blow that split the left side of his silver crown and ran on across his forehead, over his right eye and down his right cheek.

You meet him in the Godfrey, First Elden Lord fight at the Elden Throne in Leyndell, Ashen Capital. He does not fight you head on, but he is part of the battle all the same, perched on Godfrey’s back, often biting into his arm or body.

Halfway through the battle, Godfrey casts Serosh off and fights on as Hoarah Loux.

Lore

In ancient times Serosh was a proud golden lion, honoured as the Lord of Beasts. For the beastmen of Farum Azula, five fingers were a sign of the wisdom given to their kind, and the five black nails of the Beastclaw Greathammer stand for Serosh.

When the warrior Hoarah Loux vowed to become Godfrey, Marika‘s first Elden Lord, he took Serosh’s soul upon his back. The lion held back his endless lust for battle, and kept him in a lordly posture.

Notes & tips

  • Serosh has the same colouring as the Elder Lions, but no horns.
