Blackguard Big Boggart

Blackguard Big Boggart runs the Boilprawn Shack in the middle of Liurnia’s lake, cooking fresh prawns and selling them to anyone who passes. He is big, loud and cheerful, and his prawns really are good: they raise your physical defense for a while.

He is also a former convict, and he has Rya‘s stolen necklace. Behind the jolly cook is someone with a few things on his conscience.

Questline

  1. Buy Rya’s Necklace from him and return it to Rya.
  2. Buy at least one Boiled Prawn. He teaches you the Spread Out gesture, and his summon sign appears for the Magma Wyrm Makar fight in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice.
  3. His story crosses with Rya’s and with the Dung Eater’s, so check on him as you go.

Fate & endings

Boggart’s past catches up with him later in the game. His Blackguard’s Iron Mask and Bell Bearing can end up in your hands.
