Gelmir Man-Serpent
Man-Serpents are the half-human, half-serpent guards of Volcano Manor on Mt. Gelmir. At first they look like unusually tall men, but their serpent nature lets them stretch their bodies far higher than that and come down on you from above.
The sword-wielding ones usually carry a Man-Serpent’s Shield, which has a serpent’s head at its centre. You find them in the inner rooms of the manor.

How to beat it
Their reach is longer than it looks, because they can stretch upward and strike down. Do not assume you are safe just outside sword range. Stay alert for that rising stance and dodge as it comes down, then punish while they recover.
The shield users block well from the front, so try to get around their side.

Long ago, it is said, the great serpent of Mt. Gelmir devoured a demigod, and the man-serpents were born after that. They live in and protect the inner dwellings of Volcano Manor, home of Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy.
