Rot Disciple

Rot Disciples are humanoid casters whose bodies have been taken over by scarlet rot and fungus. They act as priests among the servants of rot, and they spread poison in foul swamps and old caves.

They show up in Tombsward Cave, Stillwater Cave, Seethewater Cave, Caelid Waypoint Ruins, the Abandoned Cave, the Street of Sages Ruins and the Swamp of Aeonia.

How to beat it

They prefer to keep their distance and throw toxic bolts and clouds at you, so close the gap fast. They are frail up close. Above all, avoid getting poisoned: while you are poisoned they work themselves into a frenzy and hit harder. Bring a cure or a poison-resistant setup, and use slash or fire damage to finish them quickly.
