Juvenile Scholar
Juvenile Scholars are small, frail young students devoted to Rennala. They cannot walk, and they appear only in the Raya Lucaria Grand Library in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, during the first phase of the fight with their queen.
They sing together while the fight goes on. When Rennala’s golden moon shatters, their song falls out of tune, and some of them start to giggle.
How to beat it
They give no runes and no items, so they are an obstacle, not a prize. In the first phase, Rennala is protected by a golden barrier: strike the scholars that glow with golden light to break it, then punish Rennala while she is down. Thin out the others if they get in the way.
Some of them wear the Juvenile Scholar Cap and Robe. A red version of the set is the reward for the Resurrection painting puzzle.
Lore
The scholars are Rennala’s short-lived children, born again and again from her beloved amber egg. Weak and imperfect, they depend on their grieving mother’s forbidden rite of rebirth, studying the books of the Grand Library as they wait.
