Academy of Raya Lucaria
The Academy of Raya Lucaria rises from a rocky island in the middle of the lake, and it is the heart of Liurnia of the Lakes. Sorcerers have studied glintstone here for ages, and the halls are still full of them, along with living jars, giant hands, puppet soldiers and scholars who are not very happy to have visitors.
It is a big legacy dungeon with rooftops, library towers and chapels, all tied together with clever shortcuts. Halfway through, the Red Wolf of Radagon guards the way. At the end, in the Grand Library, waits Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, a Shardbearer and one of the most unusual boss fights in the game.

How to get there
You need the Academy Glintstone Key to pass the sealed gates. It lies on a small island just north of the Temple Quarter, southwest of the Academy, right next to the sleeping Glintstone Dragon Smarag, so approach carefully. Once you have the key, enter through the South Raya Lucaria Gate in Academy Gate Town. The Sending Gate in the Laskyar Ruins is a quick way there.
Lore
The Academy was founded by the old sorcerers Azur and Lusat. Rennala later took control of it with her lunar magic and made the house of Caria its royal family. After Radagon left her, she withdrew into the library, cradling an amber egg, and the Academy closed itself off from the world. Torrent cannot be summoned inside.
