The Four Belfries

The Four Belfries stand on a hill in western Liurnia of the Lakes, north of the Minor Erdtree and south of Caria Manor. They were built by the same old civilisation that left behind the imps, the catacombs and the Stonesword Keys, and spectral Troll Knights still guard them.

The belfries hold portals that only open with an Imbued Sword Key. Each one leads somewhere you cannot otherwise reach at that point: back to the Chapel of Anticipation, down to the underground city of Nokron, and up to Crumbling Farum Azula. The last one is a brutal place to visit early, but a fun way to peek at the end of the game.
