Blasphemous Claw

A key tool for the fight against Maliketh, the Black Blade. It lets you parry certain melee attacks of his, the ones where his sword glows gold, which makes a very hard boss a fair bit more manageable.

Bernahl drops it in Crumbling Farum Azula. He only appears there if you completed his quest at Volcano Manor and defeated Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy.

Item description & lore

Notes & tips

Watch for the gold glow on Maliketh’s blade: that is your cue to use the claw.
It belongs to the same family as Margit’s Shackle, Mohg’s Shackle and the Purifying Crystal Tear: optional helpers for tough bosses, each loosely tied to an NPC’s story.
