Reed Great Katana

The Reed Great Katana is a great katana added with the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition. It is heavier than a normal katana but hits harder and reaches further, and its edge causes blood loss.

It comes with the unique skill Overhead Stance and suits Dexterity builds that want a bigger blade with the same bleed bonus as the classic katanas.

Where to find it

Found on a corpse sitting in meditation on top of a white rock formation just north of the Fort Faroth Site of Grace in Dragonbarrow, Caelid.

Item description & lore

A large katana with a long, heavy blade, unique to the warriors of the Land of Reeds. It is built for aggression: you have to throw your whole body into each swing, and its honed edge causes blood loss.

Notes & tips

Fort Faroth sits in Dragonbarrow, a dangerous area early on, so be ready for tough enemies.
If you like it, compare it with the Nagakiba and the Uchigatana.
