Ash of War: Parry

Parry is the classic deflect: time it against an enemy’s melee attack to knock the blow aside and break their stance, which opens them up for a critical hit.

It grants no affinity, so it does not change your weapon’s scaling. It works on daggers, curved swords, thrusting swords, fists, claws, and small and medium shields.

Where to find it

Sold for 600 Runes by Bernahl, either at the Warmaster’s Shack in Stormhill or later in the Drawing Room of Volcano Manor.

If Bernahl dies before you buy it, give Bernahl’s Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks and buy it from them for the same price.

Once you own it, Smithing Master Hewg can duplicate it in exchange for Lost Ashes of War.
