Night’s Cavalry

The Night’s Cavalry are knights in black armor riding black funeral steeds, and they only appear at night. Ten of them ride across the Lands Between, usually on bridges and roads, and each one drops something worth having.

They fight with flails that cause blood loss or with long glaives, and they hit very hard for the area they are in. The first one most players meet rides the bridge north of Agheel Lake in Limgrave, and he is not someone to fight on your first night.

Very resistant to stance damage while mounted

How to beat it

Fight them on Torrent. The riders and their horses have separate health bars. Kill the horse and the knight falls, fighting on foot for a while before calling a new steed, and that is your best moment to land heavy hits or a critical hit.

Their charge with the glaive and the big overhead flail swings are the attacks to watch. Ride past them rather than away from them, and strike as you go by.
