Where to find it

Found on a corpse in Leyndell Catacombs, beneath Leyndell, Royal Capital. It is on the upper level of a room guarded by an Omen. Lower the fire-breathing pillar, then ride it back up to reach that level.

Item description & lore

Made from a scale holding traits of many creatures, said to have once grown on human bodies. It is a remnant of the crucible, the primordial source of life. In ancient times such growths were seen as a mark of the divine, but as civilisation advanced they came to be scorned as impure.
