Ash of War: Golden Parry

Golden Parry has you swing your shield while weaving an Erdtree incantation, deflecting attacks and breaking the attacker’s stance. It still works when the enemy is a little way off, which makes the timing more forgiving.

It grants the Sacred affinity, so it suits a Faith build, and works on small and medium shields.

Where to find it

A guaranteed drop from a Scarab in the Capital Outskirts. It sits on one of the northern balconies along the grand staircase leading up to the western gate of Leyndell, and it teleports away, so close in carefully.

Once you own it, Smithing Master Hewg can duplicate it in exchange for Lost Ashes of War.
