Ancestor Spirit

The Ancestor Spirit is the ghost of an ancient horned stag, worshipped by the Ancestral Followers of the Siofra River. You find its remains at the southern Hallowhorn Grounds, and it only comes to life once you have lit the flames on the obelisks around the area.

It is a beautiful fight under the false starry sky, and a calmer one than most. The spirit leaps and stamps and casts glowing magic, but its movements are slow and graceful.

How to beat it

Light all the obelisk flames around Hallowhorn Grounds first, then return to the horned remains. The spirit jumps a lot and slams down, so watch the air and roll away when it lands. Its antlers fire beams of magic. Close the distance and attack its legs and body between its jumps.

Lore

Ancestor Spirits are stags whose antlers kept growing even after death. The Ancestral Followers see in them the idea that life sprouts from death, just as it does from birth. Some say Torrent may be a young one of their kind.
