Promised Consort Radahn
Promised Consort Radahn is the final boss of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. You meet him at the top of Enir-Ilim, after burning the Sealing Tree and climbing the ruined tower to the Gate of Divinity. He is the same Radahn you fought in Caelid, now restored to his full strength and standing beside Miquella as his chosen consort.
It is one of the hardest fights in the game. He swings two great swords, pulls you around with gravity magic, and in the second phase the holy light of Miquella turns almost every attack into a wave of explosions.
This boss is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. To reach the Land of Shadow, you first need to defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohgwyn Palace.

How to beat it
Phase 1. Radahn fights with two great swords and mixes heavy swings with gravity magic, including leaps that land in a burst of force. His combos are long, so wait for the real end before you attack. Rolling into his swings works better than rolling away.
Phase 2. Miquella joins him, and many attacks now leave a trail of holy light that explodes a moment later. Dodge the swing first, then dodge the follow-up light. Heal only when he has clearly finished a big combo.
Preparation. Your Scadutree Blessing level makes a big difference here. Holy damage negation helps in phase 2. Spirit ashes are allowed, and a durable spirit buys you healing time.
Lore
Radahn is a son of Radagon and Rennala, and the brother of Ranni the Witch. In the base game, the festival at Redmane Castle leads you to him as Starscourge Radahn. Miquella chose him long ago as his consort, and the expansion shows how far Miquella went to bring that promise to life.
Notes & tips
- Defeating him ends the main path of the expansion. Explore the Land of Shadow first if you want an easier fight.
