Ancient Dragon Senessax

Ancient Dragon Senessax sleeps inside the Jagged Peak, on the way up to Bayle the Dread. Like the ancient dragons who betrayed Placidusax and sided with Bayle, Senessax wields branching red lightning.

Part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, in the Land of Shadow.

How to beat it

Senessax hits hard and covers a lot of ground with its red lightning. Stay near its flank, punish the end of its swipes, and move away the moment lightning starts to gather.

Lore

The red lightning ties Senessax to Bayle’s side in the old war against Dragonlord Placidusax.

Notes & tips

  • The Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone is rare, so this fight is worth it for upgrades alone.
