This build mixes a fiery greatsword with strong buffs and incantations. The Blasphemous Blade scales with Faith and its skill, Taker’s Flames, sends out a wave of fire that heals you for part of the damage. Add a few buffs and you become very hard to kill.

Faith at 60 powers both the Blasphemous Blade and your incantations. Strength 22 and Dexterity 15 meet the sword’s requirements without wasting points. Mind 28 covers buffs and several uses of Taker’s Flames, and Endurance 30 keeps you at a medium roll in the armor below.
Weapons
- Blasphemous Blade at +10. Taker’s Flames is the heart of the build: it hits hard at range and heals you.
- Erdtree Seal at +10 for incantations. It scales very well with high Faith.
Incantations
- Golden Vow: raises attack and lowers damage taken for you and nearby allies.
- Flame, Grant Me Strength: boosts physical and fire attack. Stacks well with Golden Vow.
- Black Flame: fire that keeps burning and deals extra damage based on the target’s HP.
- Lightning Spear: a quick ranged option for enemies that resist fire.
Talismans
- Flock's Canvas Talisman: boosts incantation damage.
- Radagon Icon: faster casting for buffs and spells.
- Shard of Alexander: makes Taker’s Flames hit harder.
- Fire Scorpion Charm: more fire damage, at the cost of taking more damage.
Armor
We used the Haligtree Knight set. It fits the holy look and keeps you at a medium roll. Go heavier if you raise Endurance.
Spirit Ash
Banished Knight Oleg is an aggressive swordsman who keeps bosses busy while you buff up.
How to play it
- Cast Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength before a boss fight starts.
- Use Taker’s Flames when the boss is in front of you at mid range. The heal is worth a lot in long fights.
- Swap to Lightning Spear or Black Flame against enemies that shrug off fire.
- Keep an eye on FP. Buffs plus skills empty the bar faster than you think.
