Bewitching Branch

A throwable branch that spends FP to charm the enemy it pierces, turning it to fight on your side for a while. Useful for thinning out groups by letting enemies fight each other.

Where to find it

There are several ways to get it:

  • Pick it as your keepsake during character creation to start with five.
  • Craft it once you have Fevor’s Cookbook 3.
  • Buy three from the Nomadic Merchant southeast of the Coastal Cave, beneath the collapsed structure.
  • Buy five from the Nomadic Merchant at Bellum Church.

Notes & tips

  • Bosses cannot be charmed, but regular enemies in their arenas can, such as the Strays that accompany Esgar, Priest of Blood.
  • Players’ summoned spirits are vulnerable to it in PvP, though the effect behaves oddly depending on whether the summoner is the host or the guest.
