Coil Shield

A flashy small shield with a bronze snake wound across its face. Its unique skill, Viper Bite, gives the shield a shake so the snake springs to life and bites nearby enemies.

Requirements are modest (10 Strength, 10 Dexterity) and it also raises your resistance to poison while equipped.

Where to find it

Found on a corpse in a side tunnel of the Volcano Cave on Mt. Gelmir. Take the tunnel to the right of the chamber beyond the Site of Grace, drop down the ledge, and follow the passage to the shield.

Item description & lore

Built for the gladiator arena, where a showy look mattered as much as function. The bronze serpent is modelled on a venomous breed, which is why it helps ward off poison.
