Radagon’s Soreseal

Radagon’s Soreseal is one of the legendary talismans, and one of the most popular early pickups in the whole game. It gives you five free levels in Vigor, Endurance, Strength and Dexterity, which is twenty levels’ worth of stats sitting in a single talisman slot.

The catch is written right on the tin: you take 15% more damage while wearing it. Early on, the extra Vigor more or less cancels that out. Later, many players swap it for something safer once their stats are where they want them.

Where to find it

Found in Fort Faroth in Caelid. It lies on a corpse in the barn, close to a Rat and a Giant Rat.

Item description & lore

The talisman is an eye engraved with an Elden Rune, said to be the seal of King Consort Radagon. Its description warns that a solemn duty eats away at whoever carries it, much like a curse there is no escape from.

Notes & tips

  • It counts as a variant of Radagon’s Scarseal, so you cannot wear both at the same time.
  • Great for meeting weapon requirements a few levels early, or for testing a build before you commit runes to it.
  • Sells for 3,000 runes, but you will almost certainly want to keep it.
