Fallingstar Beast Jaw

A colossal weapon carved from a fallingstar beast’s jaw, dealing a mix of Physical and Magic damage. Its unique skill, Gravity Bolt, charges the jaw with gravitational lightning and drops a bolt a short distance ahead, and you can fire it several times in a row.

It asks for Strength, a bit of Dexterity and 20 Intelligence. Strength and Dexterity carry the damage, so it sits most comfortably in a hybrid Str/Dex build that meets the Int requirement. The weapon itself is a polished black jaw with a sharp point made for skewering.

Defeat the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast in the large crater on a peak of Mt. Gelmir, south of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite site of grace.

Notes & tips

  • Deals 20% extra damage to Gravity-affinity enemies.
  • Gravity Bolt is mostly Physical with some Magic damage and scales the same way as the weapon.
  • Intelligence scaling adds very little to either the weapon or the skill; invest in Strength and Dexterity instead.
