Leontiel’s Greatsword

Leontiel’s Greatsword is a unique greatsword added with the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition. Unlike most greatswords it leans on Dexterity, with a C in Dex and only an E in Strength.

Its skill, Muleta, holds out a red cloth to bait an attack. A normal or strong attack then sidesteps the blow and turns it into a counter, and the strong follow-up can be charged.

Dropped by Knight Leontiel, who invades in the Wailing Dunes north of the Starscourge Radahn Site of Grace once Starscourge Radahn is dead. She drops the whole Leontiel’s Armor Set as well.

Item description & lore

Knight Leontiel’s favourite weapon, its blade wrapped in leather at the base. Swords like it were carried by a proud order of orthodox knights long ago and demand a high Dexterity.

Notes & tips

A unique weapon, so it is upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones and cannot take other Ashes of War.
It shares the alternate greatsword moveset of the Knight’s Greatsword, and its strong attack is a thrust.
