Smithscript Dagger

The Smithscript Dagger is a Throwing Blade from Shadow of the Erdtree, and it plays very differently from a normal dagger: every attack sends it flying at the target, and it pops straight back into your hand afterwards. Its skill, Piercing Throw, builds on that same idea.

It deals physical damage and asks for a spread of stats (Dexterity 11, Intelligence 16, Faith 11), with its best scaling in Dexterity. That makes it a fun pick for hybrid casters who want a light ranged option without carrying arrows.

Where to find it

Found in the Ruined Forge Lava Intake in the Realm of Shadow. Work through the dungeon until you reach the lever that shifts the lava pipe, then drop to the floor below. The dagger lies behind the Golem Smith.

Item description & lore

The blade carries a smithscript engraving. Because the dagger is so light, the smithing arts work on it more strongly, which is what lets it return to its owner after every throw.
