A short, wide-bladed straight sword, once the sword of common people. It deals physical damage and has very low requirements: 7 Strength and 10 Dexterity.

It comes with Square Off. It still shows faded Erdtree styling, but age has worn it down badly.

Where to find it

A 4% drop from Commoners in Stormveil Castle. One easy spot is the room with a Grafted Scion, where three Commoners sit by a fireplace near the stairs to the second floor. You can get there by taking the lift next to the Rampart Tower site of grace.

Simple to use and once known as the people’s sword. Its Erdtree styling can still be seen, but time has worn it into a shadow of what it was.

Notes & tips

  • Square Off is handy: the light version breaks guards, and the heavy version breaks stance.
  • The second weakest straight sword, ahead of only the Cane Sword.
