A light, slender sword that was turned into a walking stick, with a worn-down tip. It deals physical damage and needs only 8 Strength and 11 Dexterity, leaning toward Dexterity.

It comes with Square Off. It once belonged to an old knight who could no longer even lift it, but still wanted to die with a weapon in hand.

Next to the stairs just south of the West Capital Rampart site of grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital. It is also there in Leyndell, Ashen Capital.

Item description & lore

The cherished sword of an elderly knight long past his questing days. Too frail to raise it, he leaned on it as a cane, yet he still wanted to meet his end armed.

Notes & tips

  • Square Off is handy: the light version breaks guards, and the heavy version breaks stance.
  • The weakest of all straight swords, and shorter than average. Treat it as a collector’s or roleplay piece.
  • Slightly better on Dexterity-leaning affinities such as Keen.
