Dragonbolt Blessing

Dragonbolt Blessing wraps your body in crackling lightning. While it is active your resistance to all ailments goes up and many light one-handed attacks simply bounce off you, but you take more lightning damage.

It only needs Faith and works as a defensive buff for anyone with a seal, especially against fast-swinging foes.

Where to find it

Found in a treasure chest inside Stormcaller Church on the Altus Plateau.

Item description & lore

A superior incantation of the ancient dragon cult in the capital. Only those favoured by dragons can endure clothing themselves in lightning.

Notes & tips

  • The deflection only works against one-handed light attacks from many lighter weapon types, plus unarmed attacks; great and colossal weapons are not affected.
  • Lowers your lightning damage negation while active, so avoid it against lightning-heavy enemies.
  • Lasts 70 seconds.
