Shaman Village

The Shaman Village lies in the Hinterland of Scaduview, a peaceful spot of golden flowers and old trees. On a hill sits the Grandmother, a stone woman grown into the trunk of a decayed tree.

Two Tree Sentinels patrol the road up, and another path through the flowers is guarded too. It is a small place, but one of the most moving in the whole expansion.

How to get there

The village is in the Hinterland of Scaduview, reached along a road guarded by two Tree Sentinels. From the village you can drop down onto Rabbath’s Rise, the only way to reach its top, where Anna’s puppet and the Spellmachinist’s Bell Bearing wait.

Lore

This is where Queen Marika the Eternal came from. The shamans were silver-haired Numen women who followed the Grandmother, and they suffered terribly at the hands of the Hornsent. Marika later bathed her old home in gold, even knowing no one was left to heal.
