Siofra River

The Siofra River is one of the two great rivers that flow far beneath the Lands Between. You reach it by a long lift from Mistwood in Limgrave, and the first look is unforgettable: a huge dark cavern lit by a false night sky full of stars, with ruins of an ancient civilisation along the water.

The river is the home of the Ancestral Followers, horned warriors who worship the spirits of great beasts. Light the flames around the Hallowhorn Grounds and an Ancestor Spirit appears. Further in lie the Eternal City of Nokron and the island of Mohgwyn Palace.

How to get there

Take the lift down in the Siofra River Well in northeastern Mistwood. The Deep Siofra Well in Caelid also connects to the river.

Lore

Siofra and Ainsel are said to be the graves of civilisations that flourished long before the Erdtree.
