An Elden Ring wiki
Bear
Bears are large, heavy animals that wander the wilds. Like boars, they leave you alone at first, but if you anger one it comes charging at you with its full weight.
They live in Limgrave, the Weeping Peninsula, Liurnia of the Lakes, the Altus Plateau, Mt. Gelmir, the Capital Outskirts, the Moonlight Altar, Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow and the Consecrated Snowfield. In the Realm of Shadow they turn up on the Gravesite Plain, at Rauh Base and in Scadu Altus. Do not mix them up with the far more dangerous Runebear.

How to beat it
Leave it alone and it leaves you alone. If you do fight, sidestep the charge instead of trying to block it, and punish the bear while it recovers.
