Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists

Raptor of the Mists grants the Keen affinity and a defensive skill: you crouch low and briefly vanish, and if an enemy hits you during that window, ghostly bird wings carry you up into the air out of harm’s way.

It works on all melee armaments, which makes it a flexible pick for Dexterity players who enjoy timing-based counters.

Where to find it

Earned in Liurnia of the Lakes by helping Yura defeat the Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin. The red summon sign appears near the edge of the broken bridge north of the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace, but only after you have talked to Yura following the defeat of Bloody Finger Nerijus. The Ash of War is given to you automatically once the invader falls.

Once you own it, you can duplicate it with Smithing Master Hewg using Lost Ashes of War.
