Bloodhound Knight Darriwil

Bloodhound Knight Darriwil is held in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in southern Limgrave. He is a traitorous knight, fast and slippery, and Blaidd the Half-Wolf has been hunting him for a long time.

He is a hard fight at low level, but you do not have to face him alone. This is the only evergaol where you can summon help, and Blaidd will gladly join in once you have met him in Mistwood.

How to beat it

Darriwil dashes and slashes in long combos. Summon Blaidd and let him take the heat, then strike from behind. Alone, wait for his combos to end and punish with short hits.

Notes & tips

  • Bloodhound’s Fang, the curved greatsword he drops, is one of the best early weapons for a strength and dexterity build.
