Mule

Mules, or donkeys, are the loyal pack animals of the wandering merchants. You only ever find them standing next to their masters, such as Kalé and the other nomadic merchants around the Lands Between, and sometimes the merchants ride them.

They are not enemies in any real sense. Hit one and it just runs.

How to beat it

There is little reason to harm a mule. It gives a handful of runes and some Beast Blood, and it stands next to a merchant you probably want to keep friendly.

Lore

The mules carried the goods of the Great Caravan, a band of merchants who were cast out from Marika’s Grace of Gold and left to wander the Lands Between forever.
