Ruptured Crystal Tear
An odd Crystal Tear for the Flask of Wondrous Physick: it heals nothing and instead makes you explode. A few seconds after drinking, an orange aura pulses around you, then you blow up in a burst of holy damage that hurts nearby enemies and costs you some health.
The blast can be boosted by holy-damage buffs such as Sacred Scorpion Charm. Mixing two Ruptured Tears together makes the explosion bigger and much stronger.

A flawed tear with no healing properties at all. Some learn the hard way that faith can be a volatile thing.
Notes & tips
- The self-damage cannot be reduced by damage-negating buffs, so keep an eye on your health before drinking.
- In the Closed Network Test, this tear was found in a chest in the Groveside Cave boss arena, and the explosion went off almost instantly.
