Rykard’s Great Rune

The Great Rune of the shardbearer Rykard. Once restored and activated with a Rune Arc, it heals you a little every time you kill an enemy, which makes clearing crowded areas more forgiving.

Like other Great Runes, the effect ends when you die or equip a different Great Rune.

Where to find it

Dropped by Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy at the Volcano Manor on Mt. Gelmir, near the Audience Pathway Site of Grace, together with the Remembrance of the Blasphemous.

Item description & lore

A Great Rune once held by the shardbearer Rykard. He was one of the children of Rennala and Radagon, who became stepchildren of the demigods when Radagon wed Queen Marika. In the end, Rykard offered himself to the blasphemous serpent, rune included.
