Twiggy Cracked Tear

A crystal tear for the Flask of Wondrous Physick. While it lasts, you keep your runes if you die. It works for 3 minutes and does not protect you from deaths caused by Death Blight.

Where to find it

It lies in a sap collection basin at the foot of the Minor Erdtree in the Capital Outskirts, next to the right-hand Crimson Crystal Tear. A group of Death-serving commoners and an Omen guard the spot.

Item description & lore

One of the crystal tears that formed over long ages where the Erdtree’s bounty fell to the ground.

Notes & tips

  • Like a Sacrificial Twig, it stops you from dropping a new bloodstain, so your previous one stays where it was and you get another try at recovering it.
  • Very useful around long drops and jumping sections, for example the side path at the start of the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel or the Frenzied Flame Proscription at the bottom of the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds.
